Dear Vivek and the Ride 2 Remember Team,
We are pleased to offer our full support for Ride 2 Remember 2026 and the incredible undertaking to cycle 825 kilometres from Dundas, Ontario, to Montreal in support of Canada’s veterans and their families.
This is far more than a cycling challenge. It is a meaningful act of remembrance and a demonstration of the respect and gratitude we owe to those who have served Canada and to the families who have supported them. The planned route, including stops at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the National War Memorial in Ottawa, and the Black Watch Armoury in Montreal, makes this journey particularly meaningful.
The commitment to raising $50,000 or more for veteran support is both ambitious and commendable. Initiatives such as Ride 2 Remember help ensure that the sacrifices of Canadian veterans are not forgotten and that those who have served, along with their families, continue to receive the support they deserve.
As we are a new organization, we are proud to endorse this endeavour and make an association donation of $200 toward the Ride 2 Remember 2026 campaign. We encourage others to consider supporting this worthwhile initiative in whatever way they can — through a donation, by sharing the campaign, or by showing their support along the route.
Vivek, your commitment to completing this journey — one kilometre at a time — is an admirable way to honour service and sacrifice. We wish you and the entire Ride 2 Remember team every success as you undertake this important challenge.
