Dundas Legion 36 Valley City

The ride begins in Dundas — the Valley City — at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 36, where three flags fly above the stone corner on King Street West and a sign carries the promise: “We Will Remember Them.”

In the branch window hangs a framed honour roll, “For King and Country,” recording the members of Dundas High School who volunteered for active service with Canada’s fighting forces. It stands as a quiet, enduring reminder of the sacrifices made by this community — a fitting place for Ride 2 Remember to start its journey.
